Job Summary

The Mid-Level Flutter Developer will contribute to building the Thaheen student mobile app for iOS and Android, developing features end to end and collaborating closely with the founders and engineering team in a fully remote setup.

Responsibilities

• Develop and release features for the Flutter app including course browsing, video lessons, practice questions, and purchase flows.
• Implement features from user interface design through API integration.
• Integrate REST APIs managing authentication, sessions, access and refresh tokens securely.
• Maintain application state using existing state-management patterns.
• Create consistent UI states such as loading, empty, error, and success.
• Design Arabic-first layouts with correct right-to-left behavior on phones and tablets.
• Implement local storage and caching to ensure app reliability on weak connections.
• Investigate and resolve bugs, crashes, and performance issues effectively.

Must haves

• At least 2 years of practical experience with Flutter and Dart.
• Experience releasing at least one Flutter application to real users.
• Proficiency integrating REST APIs and handling JSON, authentication, access tokens, and refresh tokens.
• Experience with at least one state-management solution such as Riverpod, Bloc/Cubit, or Provider.
• Comfortable with Git workflows including pull requests and code reviews.
• Ability to understand and contribute to an existing codebase independently.

Nice to haves

• Experience publishing apps on Apple App Store and Google Play.
• Experience building RTL or bilingual Arabic-English applications.
• Experience with e-learning, subscription products, push notifications, payment integrations, video playback, or protected streaming.
• Experience with offline functionality, caching strategies, tablet layouts, unit/widget testing, or CI/CD for mobile apps.
