Job Summary

Oivan seeks a Senior Network Security Consultant to lead the design, implementation, and management of network and security solutions for enterprise clients. The role combines technical expertise in network and security infrastructure with leadership responsibilities and direct client engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and management of network and security solutions for enterprise environments, ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry best practices.
• Act as technical lead for a team of network engineers, providing guidance, mentoring, and oversight on project delivery.
• Conduct comprehensive network and security assessments, identify vulnerabilities and compliance gaps, and develop remediation strategies.
• Engage directly with clients to understand business needs, provide expert advisory services, and manage stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and deliver technical documentation, including network diagrams, assessment reports, and executive-level presentations.
• Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot network security appliances including firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco), WAFs, and VPNs.
• Ensure solutions comply with security standards and regulatory requirements such as NCA, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.
• Work independently on complex technical challenges with a systematic approach to problem-solving.

Requirements

• 9+ years of hands-on experience in network and security engineering or consulting.
• Proven experience in a technical leadership role, with the ability to manage and mentor a team of engineers on complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise networking (TCP/IP, routing, switching) and security architecture (network segmentation, DMZ).
• Hands-on experience with leading security technologies, including firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA), WAFs (F5, Imperva), and IDS/IPS systems.
• Familiarity with security standards and frameworks such as NCA ECC, ISO 27001, and NIST.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills for client-facing roles.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver high-quality results with minimal supervision.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Relevant professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCNP Security, or vendor-specific credentials (Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto PCNSE) are highly desirable.
