Valuations and Modeling Executive – EYP – Amman

Job Summary

This role within EY’s Valuation, Modelling and Economics team involves advising clients on valuation and financial modelling related to strategic planning, transactions, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Work on commercial issues and support management during acquisition processes and transformation plans.
• Conduct valuations to assist clients in identifying and quantifying sources of value creation.
• Act as a Corporate Finance advisor leveraging EY capabilities to solve client issues and unlock value growth.
• Advise businesses on valuation matters related to acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, and provide fairness opinions.
• Collaborate with management to assess the impact of acquired intangible and financial assets on accounting requirements.
• Provide fair value opinions for financial reporting purposes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or business with at least 3 years of business modelling experience.
• Solution-driven and willing to work outside comfort zones with a record of solving complex problems and completing challenging projects.
• Experience managing client relationships autonomously and proactive reporting to senior leadership.
• Financial modelling skills, including building models from scratch, preferably with Real Estate experience.
• Broad knowledge of IFRS standards related to fair value measurement, business combinations, and impairment testing.
• Valuation experience in professional services or a Big 4 firm is preferred.
• Experience coaching junior and senior staff is a plus.
• Expertise in Real Estate financial modelling is desirable.
• Possession of CFA or equivalent internationally recognized qualifications (e.g., RICS, CBV) is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of GCC market dynamics and excellent business development skills are beneficial.
