Job Summary

The Lead Forward Deployed Engineer at Salesforce is responsible for designing, building, and deploying complex agentic AI solutions directly within enterprise customer environments. This role leads technical delivery, mentors engineers, and collaborates closely with Deployment Strategists to ensure successful end-to-end outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle of agentic AI solution development and deployment for strategic customers, from architecture to production.
• Design and implement agentic systems on the Agentforce platform, including agent logic, tool calls, multi-agent orchestration, and integration patterns.
• Manage the data lifecycle for AI applications across platforms such as Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, Databricks, and customer-specific systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues like data integration failures, model deployment problems, and performance regressions.
• Create and maintain dashboards and KPI reports to monitor agent performance and business outcomes.
• Rapidly develop proofs-of-concept and MVPs, balancing speed with quality decisions.
• Document and codify reusable patterns, assets, and frameworks derived from customer work to guide the organization.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and collaborative work within shared codebases.

Must haves

• 6+ years of experience in software engineering or technical delivery with end-to-end ownership of scalable production systems in enterprise AI, cloud, or SaaS.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Expertise in at least one of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex, with familiarity in others.
• Experience integrating LLMs into production, using frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex, and applying prompt engineering and responsible AI in customer contexts.
• Strong skills in data modeling, processing, and analytics with platforms such as Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, or Databricks.
• Deep knowledge of Salesforce platform technologies including Agentforce, Apex, LWC, Flows, and Salesforce APIs.
• Entrepreneurial mindset focused on fast, impactful delivery with sound judgment on timing.
• Experience mentoring technical talent and creating reusable frameworks, playbooks, or tooling.
• Clear and credible communication with engineering peers, customer architects, and executives.
• Active engagement with emerging AI and data tools, models, and trends.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
• Business level proficiency in Arabic and English.

Nice to haves

• Salesforce certifications such as Administrator, Platform Developer I/II, Agentforce Specialist, or System Architect.
• Familiarity with DevOps/CI-CD, observability tools, or data governance frameworks.
• Experience architecting multi-cloud, multi-system enterprise AI solutions for Global 500 customers.
• History of influencing enterprise software product roadmaps through field engineering insights.
• Contributions to open-source, technical publications, or conference presentations.
