Job Summary

The Workforce Planning Manager will develop and execute strategic workforce planning frameworks to align talent management with business goals. This role involves using analytics and forecasting to optimize workforce capacity and support organizational growth.

Responsibilities

• Create and apply strategic workforce planning models that integrate talent acquisition, development, and retention with long-term objectives.
• Perform detailed workforce analytics to detect talent shortages, skill gaps, and risks, offering actionable insights.
• Develop and update forecasting models to anticipate workforce demands based on market and economic trends.
• Conduct scenario planning to assess how different strategies and external factors affect workforce needs and organizational capacity.
• Work with business and HR leaders to convert strategic goals into specific workforce requirements including headcount and skills.
• Oversee workforce planning projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder alignment.
• Communicate complex data and strategic recommendations to senior leadership using effective data visualization and clear messaging.

Must haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field; MBA preferred.
• At least 5 years of progressive experience in workforce planning, strategic HR, or analytical consulting.
• Expertise in workforce analytics, forecasting, scenario planning, and HR data analysis.
• Experience with strategic workforce planning methodologies and best practices.
• Proficiency in SQL, Excel, Tableau, and Power BI for data analysis and visualization.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills with stakeholder influence capability.
• Knowledge of budgeting and financial modeling related to workforce planning.

Nice to haves

• Certified Workforce Planner (CWP) designation.
• Consulting experience including project leadership and client engagement.
• Project management skills including planning, execution, and stakeholder management.
• Fluency in Arabic.
