Job Summary

The Specialist – QA Frontend Engineer at Almosafer is responsible for ensuring the quality and automation of web applications by collaborating with various teams and utilizing modern testing tools and AI technologies.

Responsibilities

• Work with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements, identify risks early, and ensure features are testable.
• Create, implement, and run functional tests, including validating frontend interactions and API integrations.
• Use AI tools to generate test cases, analyze UI/API failures, and optimize bug reporting processes.
• Apply prompt engineering with AI to improve exploratory testing, test coverage, and test data generation.
• Develop and maintain automated tests using tools like Cypress.
• Participate actively in sprint planning, code reviews, and technical discussions to enhance product quality.
• Report testing progress, risks, and status clearly to stakeholders.
• Help improve QA processes and standards within the team continuously.

Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software testing, preferably with web and API testing.
• Ability to comprehend complex business domains and identify relevant business and test cases.
• Experience working in Agile teams with cross-functional collaboration.
• Proficiency in JavaScript-based automation using Cypress and Playwright.
• Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman and backend validation methods.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted testing tools like Cursor AI and GitHub Copilot is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with critical thinking skills.
• Effective communication skills and active participation in team discussions.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
