Job Summary

The Senior Renewables Energy Engineer will lead technical efforts for Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System projects in Riyadh, managing feasibility through delivery phases.

Responsibilities

• Lead feasibility studies and design phases for Solar PV and BESS projects.
• Develop and review technical specifications, calculations, and engineering outputs.
• Conduct assessments of solar energy yield and battery storage performance.
• Manage grid connection requirements and coordinate multidisciplinary design interfaces.
• Evaluate vendor proposals and technical documentation.
• Support procurement, testing, commissioning, and project handover processes.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams.
• Engage with clients, utilities, authorities, and contractors to facilitate project delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Power, Renewable Energy, or related Engineering discipline.
• 10-12 years of experience in renewable energy projects.
• Expertise in Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
• Understanding of grid connection requirements, power systems, and electrical design.
• Experience with utility-scale renewable energy projects.
• Strong technical leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East is highly desirable.
