Job Summary

The Senior Cloud & Platform Engineer will design, implement, manage, and optimize enterprise cloud and infrastructure platforms, focusing on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Linux, automation, networking, and security.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments.
• Support OCI architecture, deployment, operations, and troubleshooting activities.
• Manage Linux-based infrastructure and enterprise cloud platforms.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and Ansible.
• Create and maintain infrastructure automation workflows with GitLab.
• Configure and troubleshoot networking, routing, DNS, load balancing, and security controls.
• Implement infrastructure security, hardening, and access controls following best practices.
• Monitor platform health, availability, capacity, and performance, and troubleshoot complex issues.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, or related fields.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Proficient in Linux administration.
• Experience with Terraform and Ansible for automation.
• Familiarity with GitLab and infrastructure automation workflows.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls, load balancing, and network security.
• Experience in cloud infrastructure security and hardening.
• Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills.
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring and performance management.
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Understanding of cloud architecture principles such as high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery.
