Job Summary

The Product Engineer role at a YC-backed AI startup in Amman involves full ownership of the product lifecycle, including identifying opportunities, engaging with users, and delivering production-ready full-stack features for AI customer experience infrastructure used internationally.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify product gaps and propose improvements.
• Engage directly with users to understand their problems.
• Plan, prioritize, and implement full-stack features using React, TypeScript, and Node.js from concept to production.
• Take ownership of code quality through reviews, testing, and ensuring performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with the Customer Engineering team to integrate user feedback into development.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience building and shipping software products.
• Strong skills in TypeScript, React, and Node.js with the ability to independently own full-stack features.
• Strong product sense to identify improvement opportunities and propose solutions.
• Ability to deliver quickly without sacrificing code quality.
• Fluency in English with strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Comfortable working directly with customers and prioritizing based on their feedback.

• Gross base salary between JOD 2,000 and 4,000 per month, with potential flexibility for exceptional candidates.
