Job Summary

The Principal (IT/Digital) in the Energy Practice at BCG Platinion partners with client leadership to define and implement IT strategies and digital transformations that deliver lasting value. This role involves leading teams, managing client relationships, and driving technology-enabled business change.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with client leadership to understand challenges and develop IT strategies.
• Lead BCG case teams to transform client potential into performance through high-impact projects.
• Deploy tailored IT strategies, digital platforms, and architectures to leverage clients’ digital potential.
• Evaluate and coach client technology teams while managing quality, risk, and client expectations.
• Oversee operational execution and management of solutions.
• Develop IT strategies, concepts, and solutions impacting organization, operating model, digital, and data landscapes.
• Manage and mentor diverse consulting teams, fostering knowledge sharing and growth.
• Act as a thought leader advising clients beyond project scope and contribute to practice area development and brand strengthening.

Requirements

• 8–12+ years of experience in IT consulting or digital transformation.
• Experience in the Energy sector, including Oil & Gas or Petrochemicals.
• Proven track record in delivering IT transformations.
• Expertise in IT/Digital architecture, cloud, data, and AI topics.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent academic degree.
• Fluent English communication skills; Arabic is a plus.
