Job Summary

The Manager will join EY’s Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) practice focused on Banking and Capital Markets, leading complex transformation and technology-driven change projects for banks and financial institutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead advisory engagements in finance transformation, operating model design, core banking modernization, digital channels, data, controls, and technology change within Banking and Capital Markets.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders across business, finance, operations, technology, risk, and compliance to evaluate current challenges and define target requirements and implementation plans.
• Convert banking strategies and business needs into actionable plans, process designs, capability maps, operating models, governance frameworks, and deliverables.
• Support large transformation programs including governance, PMO setup, milestone tracking, risk and issue management, business readiness, change adoption, and executive reporting.
• Participate in business development activities such as proposal creation, scope definition, effort estimation, client presentations, and boardroom materials preparation.
• Coach and manage junior team members to ensure quality analysis, structured problem solving, documentation, and timely client deliverables.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of relevant experience in consulting, Big Four advisory, financial services technology advisory, or banking transformation.
• Strong background serving Banking and Capital Markets clients with exposure to retail, corporate, transaction banking, treasury, payments, lending, deposits, cards, trade finance, or capital markets products.
• Experience in banking transformation programs including operating model redesign, process improvement, technology implementation, digital transformation, core banking modernization, or large-scale delivery.
• Familiarity with core banking platforms, digital banking channels, payments platforms, workflow tools, data platforms, reporting systems, ERP/finance systems, CRM, treasury systems, or related banking technologies.
• Knowledge of AI use cases in banking such as intelligent document processing, GenAI reporting, AI-assisted credit analysis, anomaly detection, predictive controls, intelligent reconciliations, workflow automation, and back-office productivity improvements.
• Understanding of bank operations across front, middle, back office, finance, operations, risk, technology, and control functions.
• Experience supporting implementation projects including requirements gathering, solution assessment, vendor coordination, testing, business readiness, cutover planning, hypercare, and benefits tracking.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• Professional qualifications like CA, CPA, ACCA, CFA, PMP, Prince2, Agile, Scrum, or relevant technology/transformation certifications are advantageous.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are beneficial for regional client work.
