Job Opportunity as Inside Sales Representative

This opportunity is ideal for motivated sales professionals pursuing an Inside Sales Representative role and aiming to grow their careers within a dynamic, innovation-driven environment that values collaboration, performance, and impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve revenue targets and sales quotas by engaging with new and existing clients.
  • Understand customer needs and propose tailored solutions to enhance their experience.
  • Prepare and process quotes accurately and in a timely manner in line with company policies.
  • Maintain regular communication with assigned clients to ensure optimal service delivery.
  • Negotiate pricing and volume discounts while adhering to company guidelines.
  • Collaborate with Technical Support teams to resolve technical inquiries and issues.
  • Identify customer objectives, decision-making processes, and build long-term partnerships.
  • Generate new business opportunities through cold calling, emails, and referrals.
  • Stay informed about competitor activities and market trends.
  • Participate in sales campaigns, promotions, events, and brand initiatives.

Required Qualifications

Knowledge

  • Solid understanding of IT hardware and software.
  • Knowledge of the New Zealand IT distribution market.
  • Familiarity with ticketing system best practices.

Experience

  • 1+ year of previous sales experience
    or
  • 2+ years of previous sales support experience.

Skills

  • Strong ability to engage with clients at all organizational levels.
  • Excellent negotiation, persuasion, and communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical concepts and align them with customer business goals.

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related field (preferred).
  • Industry certifications such as HPE, Microsoft, Dell, or similar are an advantage.
