Job Summary

The Implementation Associate at Advanced Business Solutions supports the deployment and use of a B2B procurement platform by buyers and suppliers, including platform implementation, user support, and software testing.

Responsibilities

• Manage the onboarding of new buyers from signup to their first request for quotation.
• Configure buyer organizations, users, and approval workflows on the platform.
• Import and reconcile buyer supplier and item data.
• Coordinate ERP integration with the ABS SAP team for buyers using SAP.
• Train purchasing staff of buyer organizations.
• Serve as the main contact for suppliers and initial contact for buyer users post-setup.
• Assist suppliers with registration and submitting their first quotes, following up as needed before deadlines.
• Respond to platform-related questions from suppliers and buyers in Arabic and English.
• Identify recurring questions to propose product improvements and maintain help materials in both languages.
• Conduct weekly testing of new software releases, report defects with reproduction steps, and verify fixes.
• Create new test scenarios based on customer-reported issues.

Must haves

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, MIS, BIS, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
• Basic knowledge of purchasing processes including requests for quotation, quotations, purchase orders, and vendor records.
• Comfortable using Excel.
• Careful and methodical approach, comfortable communicating by phone with unfamiliar people.
• Zero to two years of relevant experience.

Nice to haves

• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP Business One.
• Experience in software testing or support roles.
