Job Summary

The Cooling Solution Architect designs and manages cooling and thermal infrastructure solutions for Data Centers and AI environments, ensuring technical soundness, energy efficiency, scalability, and compliance with standards and customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Design and specify data center cooling systems including CRAH, CRAC, Fan Wall Units, chillers, chilled water systems, CDU, and liquid cooling solutions.
• Conduct thermal load analysis, cooling capacity planning, and heat rejection evaluations for traditional and AI workloads.
• Develop cooling architectures and recommend optimal cooling technologies based on technical, operational, and business criteria.
• Review customer specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards, project requirements, and company best practices.
• Support specification compliance responses in Schneider Electric proposal submissions for RFPs.
• Provide technical leadership during customer engagements, workshops, design reviews, and solution presentations.
• Serve as the main technical advisor for cooling infrastructure to customers, consultants, EPCs, and internal teams.
• Collaborate with Power, IT, and Digital Energy teams to create integrated Data Center and AI Infrastructure solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• More than 10 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of data center cooling technologies and thermal management systems.
• Experience with chilled water plants, heat rejection systems, and liquid cooling architectures.
• Understanding of data center design standards and industry best practices.
• Ability to perform thermal analysis, system sizing, and design validation.
• Strong customer-facing consulting and presentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and manage stakeholders.
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Professional communication skills.
• Analytical thinking, problem-solving, and technical leadership abilities.
• Knowledge of AI infrastructure cooling requirements and high-density computing environments is an advantage.
