Job Summary

The Cloud Engineer – GCP is responsible for operating and optimizing Google Cloud Platform environments, including compute, storage, networking, and cost management, to ensure secure and efficient cloud operations.

Responsibilities

• Provision, scale, and manage resources on GCP, including compute, storage, and project structures
• Monitor cloud workloads and capacity while driving cost optimization and rightsizing efforts
• Perform standard changes, patching, and configuration management following cloud best practices and security policies
• Troubleshoot cloud incidents and assist in root-cause analysis to improve reliability and performance
• Maintain documentation, standards, and configuration baselines for the cloud environment

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience with GCP operations
• Strong understanding of GCP services, IAM, networking, and cost management
• GCP certification preferred, such as Associate Cloud Engineer or Professional Cloud Architect/Engineer
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and automation tools like Terraform is advantageous
