Job Summary

The Project Engineering Manager leads multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver complex rail systems, ensuring technical excellence and integration across subsystems. This role involves collaboration with global experts to develop sustainable mobility solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete engineering delivery of complex rail projects, ensuring scalability and compliance with system architecture standards.
• Work with cross-functional teams such as design, validation, and industrialization to align technical solutions with project timelines.
• Apply EN 50126/50128/50129 standards and RAMS methodologies to guarantee reliability and safety.
• Integrate digital engineering tools including Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and advanced simulation platforms to foster innovation.
• Encourage knowledge sharing and continuous improvement through structured design reviews and lessons-learned sessions.

Requirements

• Proficiency in systems engineering and configuration management tools like DOORS or Polarion.
• Strong knowledge of signaling, traction, or rolling stock integration in large infrastructure projects.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and coordinating technical interfaces with suppliers and partners.
• Familiarity with project governance frameworks such as V-cycle or Agile for engineering delivery.
• Ability to convert complex technical requirements into actionable engineering plans and deliverables.
