Job Summary

The Data Scientist I at MOZN will contribute to developing AI and analytical solutions focused on detecting financial fraud and mitigating AML risks, working closely under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating use cases for fraud detection, AML, and Generative AI.
• Help build and test machine learning and Generative AI models, including prompt engineering and RAG pipelines.
• Prepare, clean, and analyze both structured and unstructured data.
• Support training, evaluation, and deployment of machine learning models.
• Conduct experiments with large language models for tasks like document analysis and alert summarization.
• Complete assigned tasks within project plans under guidance.
• Keep updated on industry trends related to fraud, AML, and Generative AI.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, AI, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in data science or analytics.
• Basic knowledge of machine learning concepts and exposure to Generative AI or large language models.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Experience in data extraction, cleaning, and basic visualization.
• Familiarity with model evaluation and feature engineering.
• Proficiency in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
