Job Summary

This role involves managing the full lifecycle of WAN, routing, switching, SD-WAN, network security, and shared infrastructure services at airports and gateways. The position includes supporting migrations to the SITA Connect Versa platform, collaborating with engineering teams, troubleshooting networks, and ensuring secure and reliable service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage wired and wireless LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, network security, cloud security, and shared infrastructure services from provisioning to decommissioning.
• Lead pilot and customer migrations to SITA Connect Versa, including implementation, validation, troubleshooting, and coordination with design and engineering teams.
• Oversee WAN and service-provider network provisioning to ensure timely and quality deployment of resources.
• Monitor service performance, analyze trends, identify improvements, and maintain current network platforms and software.
• Plan and execute service changes and enhancements while managing risks and minimizing operational disruption.
• Maintain accurate documentation of customer networks, airport network security, shared infrastructure, processes, and procedures.
• Support incident and problem management with expert troubleshooting in routing, switching, NAT, QoS, IPsec, and SD-WAN technologies.
• Evaluate and adopt new technologies, automation, and methodologies to improve service provisioning and lifecycle management.

Must haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience managing network service lifecycles including provisioning, monitoring, enhancement, and decommissioning.
• Hands-on experience with WAN implementation, migration, deployment, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of routing and switching in WAN or service-provider environments, including BGP, OSPF, static routing, NAT, QoS, and IPsec.
• Experience with Layer 2 and high-availability technologies such as VTP, STP, RSTP, PVST, and HSRP.
• Experience with Cisco and Juniper routers and switches, Cisco ASA and Palo Alto firewalls.
• Working knowledge of data center switching technologies including Cisco Nexus and Cisco ACI.
• Understanding of network service models, SLAs, network management tools, and incident, problem, and change management processes.
• Ability to analyze network scenarios and communicate with technical and customer teams to deliver migrations with minimal disruption.
• Mandatory associate-level security certification.

Nice to haves

• CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent networking certification.
• Previous SD-WAN experience, especially with Versa SD-WAN, or SD-WAN certification at Associate, Specialist, or Professional level.
• Experience with network automation, cloud security technologies, or airport network infrastructure.
