Job Summary

The Technical Architect is responsible for designing and leading the delivery of complex Salesforce solutions, including Salesforce.com products, APIs, Apex/Visualforce, Lightning, mobile development, and integration technologies.

Responsibilities

• Work with client stakeholders to define requirements, deliverables, and manage expectations.
• Convert business needs into well-architected Salesforce platform solutions.
• Lead technical design sessions and document solutions aligned with business goals.
• Oversee and govern Salesforce projects to ensure quality and standards.
• Define and enforce coding standards and conduct code reviews.
• Manage technical delivery of custom development, integrations, and data migration.
• Maintain target billable utilization for the role.
• Participate in pre-sales activities such as discovery, technical deep-dives, and Proof-Of-Concept development.
• Coordinate with Salesforce product teams to support client implementations.
• Travel to client sites for projects, approximately 50-75% of the time.

Requirements

• Strong CRM experience with a solid background on the Salesforce platform.
• Senior leadership experience.
• Expert knowledge of Salesforce product suite including Sales, Service, Community, Marketing, and Community Clouds.
• Understanding of systems architecture and ability to design scalable, performance-driven solutions.
• Knowledge of design patterns, large data volume limitations, and best practices.
• Understanding of data sharing, visibility, and platform architecture considerations.
• Familiarity with platform authentication methods such as SAML, SSO, and OAuth.
• Experience with data integration tools and integrating Salesforce with other business systems (ETL, CPQ, marketing automation, reporting).
• Strong understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning, and deployment methodologies.
• Experience with platform security features like TLS and SSL.
• Expertise in defining system architecture, identifying gaps, and delivering comprehensive solutions to meet business outcomes.
• Background in designing/developing large web-based systems or full software product lifecycle.
• Active Salesforce certifications or ability to obtain relevant certifications after hire.
• Experience evaluated based on alignment with core competencies such as leadership roles, military, or volunteer work.
