Job Summary

This role involves designing, building, and maintaining scalable data platforms to support analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision making, with a focus on Python-based data engineering and modern data architectures.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain scalable data pipelines for structured and semi-structured data ingestion and transformation.
• Develop data transformation and processing logic using Python and distributed frameworks.
• Design and maintain analytical data models optimized for reporting and analytics.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across the data platform.
• Translate business and analytical needs into efficient data solutions.
• Build and maintain semantic and analytical models for enterprise reporting and self-service analytics.
• Collaborate with analysts and business users to deliver trusted datasets and metrics.
• Produce clear technical documentation and work with cross-functional teams including data analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data engineering, or a relevant field.
• 1-3 years of BI development experience.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to analyze and understand complex data.
• Capability to implement security and authorization frameworks in modules.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Python for data engineering and analytics.
• Experience writing reusable, testable, and maintainable data transformation code.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and query optimization.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts including ETL/ELT and fact/dimension modeling.
• Experience designing star and snowflake schemas for analytics.
• Knowledge of semantic layers and metrics definitions for BI.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms and data lakes, preferably Azure.
• Understanding scalable data architectures such as Lakehouse, warehouse, streaming vs batch.
• Experience supporting BI and reporting tools, preferably Power BI.
• Knowledge of analytical calculations, KPIs, and performance optimization for reporting.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD concepts for data and analytics projects.
• Experience with version control systems like Git, Perforce, or Apache Subversion.
• Familiarity with deployment pipelines and environment promotion for data solutions.
