Field Service Engineer

Job Summary

The Field Service Engineer at Radiometer is responsible for delivering customer excellence by performing troubleshooting, installation, preventative maintenance, and repairs on Radiometer analyzers. This role involves acting as an expert representative of Radiometer products and services and providing customer training.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced troubleshooting, installation, preventative maintenance, and servicing of assigned analyzers while maintaining calibrated tools and test equipment.
• Complete Regulatory Field Action Notes and Technical updates within deadlines and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Install analyzers and provide user training to customers as needed.
• Manage spare parts by accurately recording usage and ordering to maintain cycle time.
• Adhere to company regulations, guidelines, policies, and compliance standards.
• Upgrade operating systems and ensure devices remain cybersecurity compliant.
• Conduct basic IT troubleshooting on devices running Windows 7, 10, or 11.
• Configure IP addresses on devices and verify connections to Middleware or LIS/HIS/EMR systems.

Must haves

• University degree in biomedical, mechanical/electromechanical, or electronic engineering, or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of relevant field service engineering experience in healthcare, specifically with Medical & POC devices or diagnostic equipment.
• Expertise in troubleshooting, networking/connectivity setup, IT system upgrades, basic command prompt commands, and connectivity testing with middleware or LIS/HIS/EMR.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills to explain complex technical issues clearly.

Nice to haves

• Experience working with SQL databases, Java, and Mirth.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools and CRM systems.
