Field Service Engineer_KSA

Job Summary

The Field Service Engineer ensures the efficient operation and maintenance of filling machine lines at customer locations, providing technical support and troubleshooting to optimize machinery performance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service filling machine lines at customer sites while considering commercial conditions.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues to reduce downtime and improve productivity.
• Apply knowledge in pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanics, electromechanics, automation, instrumentation, and controls.
• Conduct inspections, repairs, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting on-site.
• Document technical reports, customer complaints, and escalate issues appropriately.
• Support customer staff with technical guidance to ensure smooth operations.
• Manage spare parts orders aligned with customer approvals.
• Assist with installation and commissioning of filling lines and implement necessary equipment upgrades.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical Discipline, preferably Mechatronics, Automation, or Electrical Engineering.
• Advanced English proficiency; Arabic is an advantage.
• Strong IT and diagnostic skills related to machinery operation and maintenance.
• High-level technical reporting skills including visit and troubleshooting reports and SOPs.
• Experience of 5-6 years in the aseptic industry and/or food sector preferred.
• 3-5 years of hands-on vocational experience in technical service roles.
• 3-5 years of leadership experience in technical field operations.
• Technical expertise in aseptic technology, automation, mechanical and electrical aspects of food filling machines and packaging lines.
• Proficiency in using service apps for data collection and record keeping.
