Sr. Cyber Security Engineer

Job Summary

Design, implement, and manage comprehensive information assurance and IT security solutions for enterprise clients. Conduct security investigations, incident response, and forensic analysis while optimizing security systems and tools across client environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement information assurance and IT security solutions including SIEM, DLP, Endpoint Security, Identity Management, and Vulnerability Management
• Select, evaluate, deploy, and manage enterprise security technologies such as firewalls, antivirus, intrusion detection/prevention systems, encryption, and remote access
• Configure, administer, and optimize security systems and tools at client sites
• Define, verify, and implement security controls and countermeasures aligned with organizational policies and industry standards
• Conduct security investigations, incident response, and forensic analysis of violations and breaches with detailed reporting
• Develop and maintain forensic tools, standards, and procedures for consistent investigation processes
• Perform threat management and modeling to identify threat vectors and develop security monitoring use cases
• Analyze system logs, vulnerability scans, trace data, and firewall/server logs to detect anomalies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or Engineering
• 3+ years of experience in IT/Security operations or SOC role
• Strong understanding and knowledge of IT systems
• Experience implementing and configuring networks
• Experience with Security Technologies including Archsight and Splunk
• Knowledge of network monitoring, analysis, troubleshooting, and configuration control technologies
• Conducting forensic media analysis and log file analysis
• Experience with various operating systems including Windows and Linux
• Extensive Incident Response leadership experience
• Experience with VPN, SSL, and other encryption methodology
• Knowledge and experience with network switches, routers, and firewalls
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Project, Excel, and Access
• Network+, CCNA R&S, Security+, Linux security, Windows security, or forensics training is a plus
• Professional Security certification preferred (CIHE, CEH, CPTE, or equivalent)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic
