Job Summary
SOL Business Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to collect, organize, and maintain data across company systems while preparing reports and insights to support business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Collect, enter, organize, and maintain data accurately across company systems and applications.
- Analyze data and prepare reports, summaries, and insights to support business decisions.
- Work with various business applications, databases, and data management tools.
- Identify data errors, inconsistencies, and missing information and ensure corrections.
- Assist with data cleanup, validation, and quality checks.
- Prepare Excel spreadsheets, dashboards, and regular reports.
- Support different departments with data-related requests and analysis.
- Identify opportunities to improve data processes and reporting efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong Excel skills and good understanding of data analysis.
- Comfortable learning and working with different software applications and systems.
- Strong data entry and organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, data cleaning).
- Experience with databases or data management systems, reporting or dashboard tools such as Power BI is a plus.
