Senior Frontend Engineer

Job Summary

Viero is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to design, develop, and maintain modern web applications using Next.js. You will own frontend architecture decisions, collaborate with designers and backend engineers, and ensure seamless user experiences across all devices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications using Next.js
• Build responsive, accessible, and pixel-perfect UIs using Tailwind CSS, CSS, and HTML5
• Implement and optimize Server-Side Rendering (SSR) and Single Page Application (SPA) architectures
• Develop and maintain Progressive Web Apps (PWA) with offline support and performance best practices
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs efficiently
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimal performance across all devices
• Participate in code reviews and champion frontend best practices
• Mentor junior and mid-level frontend engineers

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience in frontend development
• Strong proficiency in Next.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
• Deep understanding of Tailwind CSS, CSS3, and HTML5
• Solid experience with SSR, SPA, and PWA architectures and their trade-offs
• Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL
• Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows (CI/CD)
• Strong eye for detail and commitment to clean, maintainable code
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
