Sr. Structural Engineer

Job Summary

The Senior Structural Engineer will lead structural engineering efforts for construction and infrastructure projects, managing design, site activities, and technical coordination with a focus on compliance and quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural engineering tasks across construction and infrastructure projects.
• Review structural designs, drawings, calculations, and technical submissions.
• Ensure structural works meet approved designs, specifications, and standards.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, and other disciplines to solve technical issues.
• Conduct site inspections and oversee structural construction activities.
• Review and approve method statements, material submittals, and shop drawings.
• Monitor quality and ensure adherence to project requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the structural engineering team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in structural engineering and construction projects.
• Experience in structural design, construction, and site supervision.
• Previous work experience with engineering consultancy firms.
• Experience in large-scale construction and infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of structural codes, standards, specifications, and construction practices.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) registration.
• Experience with Saudi/GCC projects preferred.
