Sr. Engagement Manager – Prototyping AI and Customer Engineering, PACE EMEA

Job Summary

This role is for a Senior Prototyping Engagement Manager in the AWS PACE team based in Riyadh, focusing on helping enterprises in Saudi Arabia develop technology prototypes using generative AI and cloud-native solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a pipeline of innovation opportunities across KSA and GCC with account teams and partners.
• Qualify opportunities rigorously to ensure real business outcomes and paths to production.
• Define clear, time-boxed prototype engagements aligned with customer outcomes and success criteria.
• Lead engagements from start to finish, coordinating developers, architects, and partners to deliver value.
• Advise senior leaders on technology shifts and investment decisions.
• Scale successful approaches by creating repeatable processes shared globally within PACE.
• Represent customer insights internally to influence AWS service teams and product roadmaps.

Must haves

• 8+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 7+ years working directly with engineering teams.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• 8+ years of technical program management with software engineering teams.
• Experience managing cross-functional programs, processes, and release schedules.

Nice to haves

• 8+ years of project management including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management.
• Experience building sustainable processes and coordinating releases across teams.
• Experience defining KPIs/SLAs for multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership.
