Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Summary

The Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for designing, executing, and documenting manual test cases for Mozaic Loyalty Solutions’ SaaS loyalty platform and related applications. The role focuses on validating new features, performing various testing types, defect tracking, and collaborating with development teams to ensure quality releases.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute manual test cases for the loyalty SaaS platform and associated applications.
• Validate new features and perform regression and integration testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects.
• Collaborate closely with software development teams to ensure high-quality releases.
• Review requirements and specifications to support test planning.
• Contribute to process improvements in testing activities.
• Support investigations of production issues to maintain platform reliability and performance.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance or a similar field.
• Strong experience with Azure DevOps Boards for managing bugs, tasks, user stories, and test activities.
• Good understanding of Agile methodology including Sprint Planning, Grooming/Refinement, Daily Meetings, and Sprint Reviews.
• Experience in migration testing and validating data before and after migration.
• Ability to create and maintain comprehensive Test Plans, Test Cases, and Test Scenarios.
• Experience handling and validating software releases, including QA sign-off and production readiness.
• Good knowledge of databases and SQL for data validation and troubleshooting.
• Experience using Charles Proxy for monitoring and debugging network traffic.
• Strong experience in Mobile Application Testing for Android and iOS platforms.
• Strong experience in Web Application Testing.
• Experience with API Testing using Postman, including building and maintaining Postman Collections.
• Ability to perform functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, and API testing.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
