Senior DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

The Senior DevOps Engineer role focuses on enhancing software delivery by automating processes, integrating development and operations, and improving efficiency, quality, and innovation speed.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery.
• Develop and manage infrastructure as code for reliable resource provisioning and scaling.
• Automate deployment, monitoring, and maintenance using scripting and configuration tools.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to integrate testing, security, and deployment.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize infrastructure for scalability and reliability.
• Implement and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS and container orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Enforce security best practices, compliance, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Document infrastructure setup, deployment procedures, and incident response protocols.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4-6 years of experience in software development, system administration, or IT operations.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash and Python and automation techniques.
• Experience with Git and understanding of CI/CD concepts.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP, and containerization with Docker.
• Understanding of infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or Helm.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools.
• Basic skills in networking, security best practices, and system monitoring.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Willingness to learn new DevOps tools, technologies, and methodologies.
