Senior Associate Consultant SAP PI-PO

Job Summary

The Senior Associate Consultant SAP PI/PO role supports integration development and monitoring, working closely with senior team members to build foundational skills and understand SAP PI/PO concepts and integration processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and configuring interfaces.
• Support integrations based on IDOC and REST.
• Monitor interfaces and report any issues.
• Help with testing and documentation tasks.
• Learn and apply SAP PI/PO tools and processes.
• Contribute to documenting and developing solutions for client projects.
• Keep managers informed about workload and challenges.
• Provide updates and insights to project teams and leaders.

Requirements

• 0–1 year experience in SAP PI/PO or integration technologies, including internships or training.
• Basic knowledge of SAP PO components such as ESR and Integration Directory.
• Familiarity with XML, IDoc, and SOAP/REST basics.
• Understanding of synchronous and asynchronous integration concepts.
• Exposure to data mapping using XML and JSON.
• Basic knowledge of SAP systems like ECC and S4.
• Familiarity with testing and debugging fundamentals.
• Relevant SAP certifications.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Understanding of business processes and SAP module functionality.
• Ability to research, analyze, and solve detailed SAP problems.
• Knowledge of best business practices enabled by SAP.
• Teamwork aptitude, problem-solving, creative thinking, and time management skills.
• Ability to interpret requirements and apply SAP best practices.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Understanding of client business and technical environments.
• Ability to follow project and organizational guidelines effectively.
• Develop understanding of SAP methodologies, tools, standards, and techniques.
• Demonstrate organizational skills with minimal supervision.
• Deliver quality service in project assignments.
