Job Summary
The Senior Associate Consultant SAP Employee Portal assists in portal development and administration by supporting configuration and learning SAP Enterprise Portal concepts. The role involves working with teams to deliver portal solutions while following best practices and continuous learning.
Responsibilities
- Support development and maintenance of portal applications.
- Assist in configuring iViews, pages, and roles within the portal.
- Help with portal testing and resolving issues.
- Monitor portal activities and report any problems.
- Maintain documentation related to portal tools and processes.
- Contribute to documenting solutions and project efforts.
- Keep management informed about workload and project progress.
- Develop understanding of SAP methodologies and tools.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of SAP Enterprise Portal (EP) and its components such as iViews, pages, and roles.
- Understanding of SAP NetWeaver platform.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Exposure to Java / J2EE concepts.
- Awareness of SAP backend systems like ECC and S4.
- Basic troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to understand business processes and SAP module functionality.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Teamwork aptitude, time management, and consulting soft skills.
