Reporting/Controls Manager

Job Summary

The Reporting/Controls Manager at Parsons integrates engineering, scope, budget, scheduling, procurement, construction, and start-up aspects of small projects or subtasks within larger projects. This role ensures technical excellence in engineering functions and may require relocation during construction and start-up phases.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI.
• Automate recurring project controls reports and performance metrics.
• Produce executive-level reports on project status.
• Develop standardized KPIs for program and portfolio reporting.
• Analyze progress trends and support earned value management (EVM) reporting and analysis.
• Provide forecasting support for projects.
• Transform complex datasets into actionable insights for project leadership, identifying trends, risks, opportunities, and areas for performance improvement.
• Develop automated data extraction, transformation, and reporting solutions using Python and SQL to improve reporting efficiency and support digital transformation initiatives within Project Controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in project controls, data analytics, business intelligence, or a related discipline.
• Experience supporting large-scale construction, infrastructure, engineering, or capital projects is preferred.
• Experience developing Power BI dashboards and managing project performance reporting.
• Familiarity with Power BI, Microsoft Excel, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, SQL, and Python.
