RAN Integration Solution Architect

Job Summary

The RAN Integration Solution Architect leads the design and implementation of Radio Access Network integration solutions for 4G and 5G networks. This role involves technical leadership to ensure successful network integration, modernization, and optimization while collaborating with multiple teams and customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive RAN integration activities for 2G, 3G, 4G LTE, and 5G networks.
• Develop solution architectures, integration strategies, and detailed implementation plans.
• Oversee deployment, commissioning, testing, and acceptance of network solutions.
• Act as the technical escalation contact for complex integration and interoperability challenges.
• Work closely with customers, project managers, operations teams, and vendors to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Promote Cloud RAN, Open RAN, virtualization, and automation initiatives.
• Review network designs and configurations to maintain quality and compliance.
• Support presales efforts including technical proposals, solution development, and customer presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Extensive experience in RAN integration, deployment, and network evolution covering all RAN technologies.
• Strong knowledge of 2G, 3G, LTE, and 5G technologies, including network architecture, protocols, and integration processes.
• Experience with Ericsson RAN solutions, OSS/ENM platforms, and network management systems.
• Understanding of Cloud RAN, Open RAN, virtualization, and modern telecom architectures.
• Knowledge of automation tools and scripting languages such as Python or Ansible is advantageous.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to lead technical discussions and manage stakeholders across various functions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and customer engagement skills.
• Proven ability to work in dynamic, multi-vendor, and geographically distributed environments.
• Professional certifications in telecommunications, cloud, or 5G technologies are a plus.
