Power BI & Dashboard Consultant (Data Analytics)

Job Summary

The Power BI & Dashboard Consultant will develop and maintain business intelligence solutions and dashboards, transforming complex data into actionable insights to support reporting across various business areas and enterprise analytics projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Create advanced data models, measures, and calculations using DAX.
• Develop analytical reports and visualizations to aid business decisions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting needs and convert them into BI solutions.
• Build and optimize data extraction, transformation, and reporting workflows.
• Develop and maintain reports using BI Publisher.
• Support reporting and integration requirements from Oracle Unifier and Primavera P6 systems.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across reporting platforms.
• Work with project controls, engineering, and business teams to provide insights and performance metrics.

Must haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Dashboard Development.
• Strong practical experience with Microsoft Power BI.
• Expertise in DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
• Experience developing reports with BI Publisher.
• Proficient in SQL and database querying.
• Good understanding of Data Warehousing concepts and enterprise reporting architecture.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure Data Platform and Databricks.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to haves

• Experience with Oracle Unifier reporting and dashboard development.
• Experience integrating data from Primavera P6, Unifier, ERP, and other enterprise systems.
• Knowledge of project controls, planning, and portfolio management processes.
• Experience in engineering, infrastructure, utilities, or construction projects.
