POS Automation Engineer

Job Summary

The POS Automation Engineer will contribute to the development and delivery of automation and control-command systems for traction projects, collaborating with various teams and supporting field operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic automation engineering tasks for projects or programs.
• Define architectures for automation and control-command systems.
• Provide technical and interface specifications for automation systems.
• Monitor subcontractors technically for automation programs and cubicles.
• Participate in factory acceptance tests for automation systems.
• Offer technical support to Field Operations teams regarding design issues.
• Engage in the Change & Configuration process, including managing automation configuration lists.
• Contribute to Return of Experience (REX) activities to enhance future projects.

Requirements

• Degree in Automation Systems Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in automation systems, preferably in railway transportation.
• Experience in test and commissioning or troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of electrical installation including high, medium, and low voltage.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic and/or French is a plus.
• Autonomy, motivation, initiative, and passion for technical subjects.
