Mid-Level Backend PHP Developer

Job Summary

The Mid-Level Backend PHP Developer will join the Engineering team to develop and maintain backend systems for enterprise web applications and digital platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend applications using PHP.
• Customize and develop Drupal modules and features.
• Build and integrate REST APIs.
• Resolve bugs and support production issues.
• Manage MySQL/MariaDB databases.
• Support application upgrades and enhance performance.
• Collaborate with Front-End, QA, DevOps, and Technical Leads.
• Adhere to Git workflows, coding standards, and best development practices.

Must haves

• 3–5 years of backend development experience.
• Strong PHP skills.
• Experience with Drupal.
• Knowledge of REST APIs.
• Proficiency with MySQL/MariaDB and SQL.
• Experience using Git and Composer.
• Understanding of OOP and MVC concepts.
• Good problem-solving and debugging abilities.

Nice to haves

• Experience with Docker and Linux.
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes.
• Experience with Drupal upgrades and migrations.
• Experience with PHPUnit or automated testing.
• Experience working on enterprise applications.
