Job Summary

The AI Intern at APCO’s Amman office will assist in developing, testing, and applying AI tools to support communications, research, and digital transformation projects. The role involves working closely with the AI and Digital Transformation team in a dynamic advisory setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, testing, and improving AI and natural language processing tools for research and communications.
• Help collect, clean, organize, and analyze both structured and unstructured data from various sources.
• Identify patterns and insights to support client projects and internal innovation.
• Research emerging AI technologies, digital transformation trends, and their applications in communications and advisory work.
• Support the creation of presentations, reports, summaries, and visual materials to clearly communicate technical findings.
• Collaborate with team members to test AI models, assess results, and document recommendations and improvements.
• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing by monitoring new technologies and relevant use cases for APCO.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in computer science, computer engineering, data science, artificial intelligence, or a related field.
• Strong interest in artificial intelligence, machine learning, natural language processing, and digital transformation.
• Working knowledge of Python and familiarity with common data analysis or machine learning libraries is preferred.
• Ability to work with data, conduct research, and communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Curious, proactive, and comfortable experimenting with new tools and technologies.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and willingness to learn collaboratively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
