Innovation Engineer

Job Summary

The Innovation Engineer at TJDEED Technology® is responsible for developing and managing the company’s Innovation Engine by converting business, customer, and market challenges into experiments, prototypes, AI-driven solutions, and validated opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer, sales, service, technology, and internal operation challenges and opportunities.
• Convert identified problems into clear innovation hypotheses, solution ideas, and technical experiments.
• Investigate emerging technologies, focusing on AI agents, LLMs, automation, integrations, and enterprise software.
• Quickly develop prototypes and proofs of concept to confirm technical feasibility and business value.
• Assess build-versus-buy decisions, APIs, platforms, models, and third-party technologies.
• Collaborate with Technology teams regarding architecture, security, integration, and scalability.
• Document experiments, assumptions, results, lessons learned, and recommendations.
• Maintain an Innovation Pipeline tracking ideas, experiments, POCs, and validated opportunities.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering fundamentals.
• Practical skills in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with APIs, REST, webhooks, databases, and integrations.
• Knowledge of generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, prompt engineering, and AI workflows.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, automation tools, Git, and modern development practices.
• Ability to evaluate security, reliability, and scalability at the prototype level.
• Experience in R&D, POC development, hackathons, or innovation is a strong advantage.
• 2–5 years of experience in software, AI, R&D, automation, or related technology fields.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, IT, or related field preferred.
• A strong practical portfolio may partially substitute formal experience.
