Enterprise Architect (EA) / Solution Architect – Banking Sector

Job Summary

This role involves providing enterprise and solution architecture expertise within the banking sector, ensuring alignment with business strategies, regulatory standards, and IT governance frameworks, specifically COBIT, for a six-month project.

Responsibilities

• Create and assess enterprise and solution architectures in line with the bank’s business and technology goals.
• Evaluate current banking systems and establish future architecture and technology plans.
• Implement COBIT principles to enhance IT governance, risk management, and compliance.
• Design and review banking technology solutions, including system integrations and application architectures.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations, security policies, and other relevant requirements.
• Work collaboratively with business units, IT, cybersecurity, risk, and compliance teams.
• Assist in integrating and modernizing core banking, digital banking, payment systems, and related applications.
• Develop architecture documentation, solution designs, technical evaluations, and recommendations.
• Conduct architecture reviews to verify scalability, availability, security, and performance standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience as an Enterprise Architect, Solution Architect, or similar role.
• COBIT certification is mandatory.
• Experience in the banking or financial services sector is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of banking systems, enterprise applications, system integration, and IT infrastructure.
• Understanding of IT governance, operational risk, regulatory compliance, and information security.
• Experience with digital banking, core banking platforms, payment systems, or banking transformation projects is advantageous.
• Excellent skills in stakeholder management, analysis, communication, and problem-solving.
