Job Summary
The Senior DevOps Engineer role at Globant in Riyadh involves designing and optimizing scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure and CI/CD solutions to support efficient delivery of high-quality applications with strong performance and operational stability.
Responsibilities
- Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines and image promotion strategies on Kubernetes.
- Manage multiple parallel and ad-hoc tasks effectively.
- Take ownership of monitoring systems and alert response processes.
- Implement GitOps practices.
- Utilize secrets management tools such as Vault or equivalents.
- Maintain solid Linux and networking fundamentals in operations.
- Work with OCI technologies.
- Use ELK or similar observability stacks for monitoring.
Must haves
- Currently based in Riyadh and available to work onsite.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline design and Kubernetes image promotion.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience with monitoring and alert response ownership.
- Knowledge of GitOps.
- Experience with secrets managers like Vault.
- Strong Linux and networking fundamentals.
- Experience with OCI and ELK or comparable observability stacks.
Nice to haves
- Experience in disaster-recovery design and testing.
- Experience writing process or runbook documentation.
