Business Operations Associate

Job Summary

The Business Operations Associate supports the Real Estate Development Operations team in MENA by managing data, systems, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure accurate reporting and enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine data quality checks on real estate portfolio and development project data, addressing discrepancies with relevant teams.
• Maintain data governance by managing access controls, refresh schedules, documentation, and automated reporting.
• Create and update standardized data models and reporting templates for consistent regional measurement.
• Develop and automate dashboards, reports, and analytical models using Google Sheets, Excel, and BI tools to aid decision-making.
• Lead the deployment and adoption of software platforms such as Yardi, Procore, or other real estate/construction/project management tools.
• Collect, clean, and analyze operational and system usage data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvements.
• Train users on dashboards, trackers, and systems to ensure correct data input and understanding.
• Design and monitor KPIs related to real estate development including cost, schedule, risk, and platform adoption metrics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related analytical field.
• 3-5+ years of experience in roles such as Data Analyst or Business Analyst.
• Advanced skills in Google Sheets and Excel, including dashboards, pivot tables, automation, and reporting.
• Knowledge of forecasting concepts including trends and projection techniques.
• Experience with SQL and BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with real estate, construction, or project management platforms is highly preferred.
• Fluency in English and Arabic with strong communication and training abilities.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
