Adobe DXP Architect

Job Summary

The Adobe DXP Architect will lead the design and implementation of enterprise digital experience platforms for large organizations, working closely with stakeholders and delivery teams to create scalable solutions across Adobe Experience Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions with business and technology stakeholders to gather objectives and current landscape insights.
• Define comprehensive target architectures involving Adobe Experience Manager and Adobe Experience Platform components.
• Convert business and experience needs into secure, scalable, and maintainable technical solutions.
• Document and decide on key architectural choices such as deployment models and data strategies.
• Design integrations between Adobe products and enterprise systems using APIs and middleware.
• Establish data models, schemas, and audience segmentation to support personalization and journey orchestration.
• Provide technical leadership including code reviews, development standards, and CI/CD practices.
• Ensure solutions comply with performance, security, accessibility, and data privacy requirements.

Requirements

• Over 10 years in digital or enterprise technology with at least 6 years architecting on Adobe Experience Cloud.
• Proven experience leading end-to-end Adobe implementations on large, multi-workstream programs.
• Background in consulting or systems integration with enterprise clients in client-facing roles.
• Strong hands-on expertise in AEM including Cloud Service, components, Sling/OSGi, Dispatcher, DAM, and headless delivery.
• Good knowledge of AEP applications such as RT-CDP, Journey Optimizer, Target, and Analytics with practical data experience.
• Solid skills in integration and cloud architecture including REST APIs, Adobe I/O, and cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Ability to clearly communicate architecture to both business and technical audiences.
• Comfort working independently in contract roles and integrating quickly into client teams.
• Adobe certifications like Adobe Certified Master or Expert are advantageous.
• Experience in regulated or public-sector industries and with Adobe Commerce or Workfront is a plus.
