Job Summary

The Testing and Commissioning Engineer in Riyadh is responsible for carrying out thorough testing and commissioning activities to ensure systems and equipment meet design and regulatory standards. The role involves collaboration with various teams to verify functionality, resolve issues, and document all processes accurately.

Responsibilities

• Create, implement, and record detailed testing and commissioning plans following project and industry standards.
• Systematically test equipment and systems to confirm proper operation and compliance with design criteria.
• Perform pre-commissioning inspections to detect deficiencies or non-conformances requiring correction.
• Calibrate instruments and equipment to guarantee precise measurements during testing.
• Analyze test outcomes and performance data to assess system function and troubleshoot problems.
• Work with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to address issues and apply corrective measures.
• Prepare detailed commissioning reports including procedures, results, observations, and suggestions.
• Ensure all testing complies with safety, environmental, and company policies.

Requirements

• 10 years of experience in testing and commissioning industrial systems, equipment, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of testing methods, commissioning procedures, and quality assurance.
• Skilled in technical troubleshooting with an analytical approach.
• Excellent organizational and documentation abilities with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations such as ISO, API, ASME, or equivalents.
• Experience operating, calibrating test equipment, and analyzing data.
• Good grasp of electrical and/or mechanical systems relevant to project scope.
• Effective communication skills for preparing technical reports and coordinating with teams.
• Familiarity with safety standards and commitment to workplace safety.
• Experience with project management tools and software.
• Preferred: knowledge of automation and control systems, industry certifications, and experience on large-scale infrastructure or industrial projects.
