Job Summary

The Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain software solutions used globally, focusing on scalable applications and new feature implementation across various platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software solutions that support millions of users worldwide.
• Build scalable applications and implement new features for existing products.
• Write unit and automated tests to ensure software reliability and quality.
• Collaborate with team leads, architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software.
• Participate actively in Agile Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, refinement, planning, and retrospectives.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and process enhancement within the team.
• Work independently and collaboratively to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
• Leverage AI tools to assist in code generation, debugging, brainstorming, and reviewing AI-generated code.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Java development and Spring Boot framework.
• Understanding of object-oriented principles, design patterns, and software architecture.
• Experience with web APIs such as REST and GraphQL.
• Knowledge of cloud services, mainly AWS, and microservices technologies including Kubernetes and Docker.
• Familiarity with data storage technologies like Entity Framework, Postgres SQL, DynamoDB, and both relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with JavaScript, React, ExpressJS, HTML, CSS, and version control systems like Git.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies, CI/CD processes, and automated testing.
• Experience with additional technologies such as XML, Apache, TypeScript, NPM/Yarn, and messaging queues like Apache Kafka and JMS.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication skills, and ability to work in dynamic environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent preferred, with 2+ years of software development experience.
