Job Summary

The Senior Structural BIM Engineer leads the structural BIM delivery process, coordinating models and drawings, and ensuring quality and collaboration among project stakeholders in Amman, Jordan.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural BIM delivery and coordinate model and drawing outputs.
• Review and manage structural Revit models for concrete and steel structures.
• Lead multidisciplinary coordination and perform clash detection using Navisworks.
• Review shop drawings, reinforcement detailing, and construction documentation.
• Conduct BIM QA/QC, model reviews, and track issues.
• Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and contractors to resolve technical challenges.
• Manage BIM workflows using ACC and cloud collaboration platforms.
• Mentor BIM modelers and support efficient BIM workflows.
• Support BIM automation through Dynamo, Python, pyRevit, or Revit API.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in Structural BIM, detailing, and coordination.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit Structure and Navisworks Manage.
• Strong knowledge of structural engineering, concrete and steel systems, shop drawings, and constructability.
• Experience in BIM Coordination, QA/QC, ACC/CDE workflows, and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Experience with Dynamo, Python, Revit API, ISO 19650, IFC, or international projects is a plus.
