Job Summary

This role is responsible for leading strategic alignment and optimizing performance outcomes within SOPC’s high-performance programs. It involves collaboration with senior leadership to support planning, monitoring, and implementation of athlete development strategies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Senior Directors and High Performance Directors to execute strategic plans aligned with SOPC’s mission.
• Oversee monitoring of high-performance plans and engagement with National Federations.
• Manage tracking of athlete and sport performance results.
• Handle Athlete Agreements and Athlete Award Payments.
• Ensure compliance with Individual Athlete Plans and internal performance management frameworks.
• Provide timely reports on program activities and expenditures.
• Lead monitoring of Target Groups for major events such as the LA Olympic and Paralympic Games, Asian Games, and Asian Para Games.
• Direct Sports Research & Development initiatives to support evidence-based athlete performance and injury prevention.
• Foster collaboration between Sports R&D, HP staff, and federations to apply research insights.
• Oversee adoption of innovative technologies and methodologies aligned with strategic goals.
• Serve as liaison with federation leaders and represent SOPC in national and international high-performance discussions.
• Build relationships with external experts and institutions to enhance SOPC’s high-performance framework.
• Monitor federation and athlete performance data to identify trends and ensure objectives are met.
• Promote continuous improvement culture within federations and benchmark practices against international standards.
