Job Summary

The Senior ELV Engineer is responsible for overseeing the design review, installation, testing, commissioning, integration, and maintenance of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems in large building and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with specifications and standards while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering, design review, and implementation of ELV systems during the project lifecycle.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical specifications.
• Supervise installation activities to ensure adherence to project requirements and quality standards.
• Manage testing, commissioning, and handover processes for ELV systems.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors to address technical issues.
• Monitor project progress and provide technical support to site teams.
• Conduct site inspections to verify work complies with approved drawings and standards.
• Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and as-built documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of ELV engineering experience in large building, mixed-use, commercial, airport, metro, rail, healthcare, or infrastructure projects.
• At least 5 years in a senior engineering or supervisory position.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary projects and managing stakeholders.
• Knowledge of international standards including IEC, NFPA, TIA/EIA, BICSI, and Saudi local regulations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, and MS Office.
• Familiarity with ELV system integration platforms and commissioning procedures.
• Ability to review technical drawings and specifications.
• GCC/Saudi Arabia project experience is preferred.
• Professional certifications related to ELV/Security Systems are preferred; PMP certification is an advantage.
