Job Summary

The (Senior) DevSecOps Engineer at Oivan is responsible for designing and operating platforms that enable clients to build, ship, and run software securely and efficiently at enterprise scale. The role involves working with CI/CD, cloud, container orchestration, and security to support fast and secure software releases.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab following DevOps and DevSecOps best practices.
• Architect, implement, and manage cloud and hybrid environments on GCP, Oracle Cloud, or Azure.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments using Terraform and Ansible.
• Operate container platforms including Kubernetes, SUSE Rancher, and OpenStack.
• Deploy and manage PostgreSQL and Redis clusters for high availability and resilience.
• Implement and operate Consul clusters for service discovery and configuration management.
• Design and test Disaster Recovery solutions including data replication, failover strategies, and networking setup.
• Lead discovery and migration activities for SDLC, CI/CD, and infrastructure environments, including GitLab migrations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, CI/CD, or Platform Engineering.
• Experience working in on-premise enterprise environments.
• Ability to work independently in a customer-facing role.
• Experience with cloud administration on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), or Microsoft Azure.
• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, and GitLab including migrations and high-availability setups.
• Expertise in container orchestration platforms: Kubernetes, SUSE Rancher, and OpenStack.
• Experience managing PostgreSQL and Redis clusters (Sentinel-based) and object storage solutions.
• Experience with Consul clusters for service discovery and configuration.
• Strong Disaster Recovery skills including data replication, failover planning, and DR networking setup.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
