Job Summary

The Senior DevOps Engineer will design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable infrastructure and deployment environments for a healthcare technology program in Jordan. This role is a technical individual contributor working closely with engineering, architecture, and delivery teams on local and international projects.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage CI/CD pipelines for application development, testing, and deployment.
• Deploy, configure, and oversee Kubernetes environments on on-premise, bare-metal, and private virtualized infrastructure.
• Handle containerization and orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code with Terraform.
• Monitor system performance, resolve production issues, and ensure infrastructure security and reliability.
• Support deployments in customer data centers, including those with limited internet connectivity.
• Collaborate with engineering and implementation teams for system integrations, releases, and operational handovers.
• Maintain clear documentation for infrastructure and deployment processes.

Must haves

• At least 4 years of professional experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or infrastructure engineering.
• Strong practical experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience deploying Kubernetes on bare-metal or private virtualized on-premise infrastructure.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Kafka, MinIO, Keycloak, Vault, and Prometheus technologies.
• Experience deploying or supporting Mirth Connect.
• Knowledge of hybrid and cloud-agnostic infrastructure environments.
• Experience managing deployments in restricted-connectivity environments, including offline artifacts.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and understanding of infrastructure security, networking, and access management.
• Fluency in Arabic or English.
• Availability to work full-time on-site in Amman.

Nice to haves

• Experience supporting healthcare technology systems or other regulated environments.
• Experience with complex, multi-system production deployments.
