Job Summary

The Senior Assistant Software Implementation role supports the deployment and implementation of software solutions, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal downtime. This position involves assisting with software installations, updates, configurations, troubleshooting, and user training across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities

• Assist in transition planning, testing, installation, and staff training during software transitions under the guidance of the Head of Department and IT team.
• Support global software rollouts across International Medical Corps’ missions and coordinate with external partners as needed.
• Monitor software implementation progress and serve as a primary contact for user support and inquiries.
• Collaborate to ensure compliance with privacy, security, and confidentiality standards according to policies.
• Help develop rollout plans with field teams and the medical department for smooth implementation.
• Contribute to creating user guides and training materials to support system adoption.
• Provide user support and training, troubleshoot technical issues, and assist healthcare professionals with system functionality.
• Assist in system monitoring, maintenance, issue resolution, documentation, and coordination with IT teams and vendors to support updates and improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, information technology, management information systems, computer science, or a related health or IT field.
• At least 1 month of experience including volunteering or internship.
• Experience in Health IT is preferable.
• Very good English language skills.
